About The Company
The current site occupied by BTP has been a sawmill for the past 60 odd years. In this time there have been two owners prior to the present owners. The previous owners operated a large hardwood milling and retail operation employing at one stage 100 employees. Due to an economic downturn and redefining of their business strategies, the previous owners concentrated their production to the manufacturing and selling of CCA treated pine posts.
The business was allowed to wind down to the stage where untreated posts were imported from South Australia
